This assignment demonstrated how scientific writing is truly collaborative by nature. The assignment consisted of 4 elements: proposal, lab report, digital poster, and presentation. As this assignment composed of several parts, teamwork was essential to our success, and so ee collaborated at every stage of this assignment. A unique challenge we faced was making the lab report flow. Since three different people with their own distinct writing voice were writing the paper together, we had to find a happy medium that showcased our writing style. We accomplished this by reviewing and editing each others sections

Additionally, our definition of scientific writing was expanded. The assignments up to this point in the semester were essays. However, by creating a poster, we discovered different avenues to showcase our writing. Creating a poster also gave us more room for creativity. When we write essays, they are typically in size 12 font and Times New Roman. While designing our poster we had to make sure it was aesthetically pleasing and highlighting the necessary information.
